By accessing or using our website www.kcmobilityscooterrentals.com ("Website") or renting mobility equipment from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). 1. Services and Rentals

KC Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC provides rental services for mobility equipment, including Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs, Knee Scooters, Transport Chairs, Rollators, and Wheelchair Ramps ("Equipment"), for customers in need of temporary mobility assistance. All rentals are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

• Rental Agreement: By renting Equipment, you agree to abide by the terms outlined in the rental agreement provided at the time of booking, including proper use, care, and return of the Equipment.

• Condition of Equipment: Equipment is inspected before and after each rental. You are responsible for any damage to the Equipment during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear.

• Rental Period: Rentals are for the agreed-upon duration. Late returns may incur additional fees.
  

2. Payments

• Payment Processing: We do not process payments directly on our Website. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service (available at www.stripe.com).

• Fees and Charges: You are responsible for all rental fees, taxes, and any additional charges (e.g., late fees or damage fees) as outlined in the rental agreement.

• Refunds and Cancellation Fees:

  • Cancellation more than 72 hours prior to the rental start date: No fee.

  • Cancellation less than 72 hours prior to the rental start date: $25 fee.

  • Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the rental start date: $50 fee.

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the rental start date: $75 fee.

  • Once Equipment is delivered, no refunds will be provided for a shortened rental period.

  • We recommend cancelations be made by email, or text message to ensure that the customer has a date and time stamp on cancelation request.

  • Exceptions to this fee schedule are at the sole discretion of KC Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

• No Sale of Information: We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to process your rental, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.

• Third-Party Processor: Payment information is handled securely by Stripe and is subject to their privacy policies.
